Welcome to our designer 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom ground level suite, located in the quiet and peaceful Grand Boulevard neighbourhood! This space is perfect for families, groups, and or business professionals looking to enjoy a comfortable location to relax and recharge after a long day.

We are a family of three and live in the upper level of our Vancouver Special home, we take great care to ensure that our guests have a tranquil and enjoyable stay. A Vancouver Special is a style of home that is typically found in Vancouver, Canada. It is a type of house that was popularized in the 1960s and 1970s and is characterized by its unique architectural style. Vancouver Specials are typically two-story homes with a boxy, rectangular shape and a distinctive split-level design.

Ryan and I are very excited to be your hosts! We are a young family of three that lives above the guest suite. We strive to be ultra quiet for our guests, especially in the morning, but occasionally our reflexes miss a toy drop and could possibly be heard in our much loved 42-year-old Vancouver Special home. The house comes with personality, so while we make every effort to keep noise to a minimum, small creaks as people move around may be detected.

The suite features three spacious and cozy bedrooms, each with comfortable Canadian-made memory foam mattresses that will ensure a great night's sleep. We've gone the extra mile to provide high-quality soft cotton linens and bedding, so you can rest easy and wake up feeling refreshed. We've also provided ample closet space and storage areas, so you can keep your clothes and personal items organized during your stay.

There is a recently updated full bathroom which includes a shower/bathtub combination (baby support seat or toddler inflatable tub available), sink, and toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer are all provided.

The suite offers high-speed internet and a comfortable private work area located in the primary bedroom, so you can stay connected and productive during your stay. We've also provided a spacious living area with a large 55” screen TV equipped with Roku allowing you to log into any of your personal streaming services, perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The living room includes a lovely reading nook, complete with a comfortable chaise chair, a reading light, and a small bookshelf stocked with a variety of books to choose from. Whether you're looking for a quiet moment to yourself or want to curl up with a good book, our reading nook is the perfect spot.

In addition, there is a cupboard in the living room stocked with various board games and puzzles, perfect for a fun evening with family and friends. Whether you're looking for a classic game of Monopoly or a challenging puzzle to work on together, we've got you covered.

The fully stocked kitchen is another highlight of this suite, equipped with all the necessary appliances and kitchenware you'll need to whip up delicious meals during your stay. Start your morning at the fully stocked coffee and tea bar which includes a Nespresso Machine, pour-over, French press, electric milk frother, coffee bean grinder, teapot, and electric kettle. There's also a snug dining area where you can enjoy your meals together.

Large in-suite laundry closet which includes full-sized stacked washer and dryer, moveable drying rack, iron, small tabletop ironing board, clothing stain remover, and washing pods.

Very kid friendly space with a hidden kid zone that includes toys and books. Dining high chair, pack and play, bumpers for one bed, baby bath seat, inflatable toddler bath, and in-room sound machine. The suite is adjacent to three playgrounds for outdoor fun. Additionally, there is a forest walk located a block away that provides a great place to adventure in nature with your little ones and or fur babies.

There is ample street parking located directly in front of the guest suite. Bring your bike, skis, and golf clubs as there is access to your own private and secure storage shed, please let us know if you require this ahead of your stay.

The Location

Located two blocks north of the beautiful Grand Boulevard park, this suite is within walking distance from cafes (Andrews on 8th, BLVD Cafe - 20-minute walk). The vibrant Lonsdale Avenue is a 15-minute walk away and Lion’s Gate Hospital is situated 18 minutes away on foot or 4 minutes by car.

The suite is two blocks from across the ‘green necklace’ paved bike and walking lanes. The bus stops are a 5-10 minute walk providing service on the 255 - to West Vancouver, 228 - to Lynn Valley, and 240 - to Downtown Vancouver. The nearby seabus located at Lonsdale Quay offers quick access to the heart of downtown via the water.

We are surrounded by an abundance of parks, biking and hiking trails close by, and many exciting tourist attractions are within a 10-15 minute car ride, including Grouse Mountain, Lynn Canyon, The Shipyards, Lonsdale Quay, Mosquito Creek, the Spirit Trail. Within 20 minutes, you will find Ambleside Beach, Lighthouse Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Cleveland Dam, and Deep Cove. Mount Seymour and Cypress Mountain are closer to 30 minutes away and all three local mountains offer summer/winter outdoor activities.
